Paradis/Garden (2018)

Paradis/Garden is an installation originally build for the Berliner Ensemble production of Les Enfants du Paradis. When war has destroyed all things fragile and beautiful, from the rubble delicate things can be made again. In the spirit of Jacques Prévert and Marcel Carné, who under the direst of circumstances were able to find beauty in inventiveness and allowing the magic of the imagination shape what we experience, Paradise Garden is a series of instruments that allow the listener and player to play with the idea of sound, what is music, everything becomes everything, a seemingly broken place can become an orchestra and be a healing force.
